Nathan Wigner, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma, general orthopedics, joint replacements and most everything in between. Dr. Wigner earned his undergraduate degrees in chemistry and biology from North Carolina State University and received both his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Wigner received his Ph.D. in biochemistry and has published extensively in the fields of skeletal biology and translational research. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Pennsylvania and his fellowship at Harborview Medical Center. Dr. Wigner has multiple years of experience treating patients and he understands the important balance of meeting the needs of a community and coordinating the delivery of both inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care.
