Patient Education
Cancellations:
Please call the office 24 hours in advance to cancel appointments. Failure to do so could result in a $25.00 charge.
Late Policy:
We are committed to prompt service, and we will work very hard to stay on time, barring any emergencies. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may ask you to reschedule so that we do not delay appointments for other patients. Please remember to arrive 10-15 minutes early to complete any paperwork associated with your visit, particularly if you are a new patient.
Referrals:
Many insurance plans require a referral to see a specialist and many specialty clinics require referrals from a primary care doctor before scheduling an appointment. If you feel you need to see a specialist, please schedule an appointment with your primary care physician to discuss your concerns. In most cases, primary care offices will not make a referral without a scheduled appointment.
If you need to see a specialist and are unsure if a referral is required, or do not have a primary care physician, please call the specialist’s office. The staff will work through the referral process with you.
